This fresh adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s The Wood Demon follows the wealthy inhabitants of a random Russian forest as they navigate being stars of a brand new reality TV show, Serebryakov and Friends. Sexy, absurd, and possibly incestual, Scout Backus’ version of Chekhov’s biggest failure brings these characters to life and puts their flaws on the utmost display.
